St Werburgh's Roman Catholic Parish, Chester

The Great War

In common with communities the length and breadth of the British Isles, St Werburgh's Parish remembers those who fought and died in the 1914-1918 global conflict, the War that it was hoped would end wars. The lives of the fallen of the Parish are documented in the work of the Parish Great War Group. In this gallery we collect some contemporary portraits, and some memories from the present day.
