St Werburgh's Church, Dublin. A church of this name has been on the site close to Dublin Castle since 1178. The current church was built in 1719 at a cost of £8000. It had a large spire. Following the uprising in 1798 concerns were raised over the spire as a security risk as it overlooked Dublin Castle. The spire was removed in 1810.
