Our Parish Schools

We are very proud of the Catholic Schools we serve. They attract pupils from the entire Chester area and the more rural distircts beyond and both have a reputation for caring and for providing the best education within a broadly Christian/ Catholic Ethos for everyone. Both schools accept pupils from all denominations and have been consistently praised by OFSTED for the quality of their teaching and learning.

Many families of pupils form both schools are members of our Parish, and pupils paritcipate in services throughout the year. We follow a sacramental programme with Catholic pupils, and St Werburgh's Parishioners act as Cathechists for Confirmation at about 14. School-based programmes help the children prepare for their First Forgiveness and First Holy Communion.

St Werburgh's also has a special Parish-based Sacramental programme for all children not attending our Catholic Parish Schools.
