St Werburgh's 1914 Organ Refurbishment and rebuilding in the 1875 Confessionals

Documents delineating the restoration of the First Organ in St Werburgh’s Church. Following the Church extension 1912-1914 , the organ was removed from the gallery , and refurbished before being reinstalled in the original Church confessional, later re-used as St Werburgh’s Shrine. The information came from the Liverpool Central Reference Library, Kirby Archives – details on St Werburgh’s Chester.

This information won’t be of general interest to the parish but I believe should be retained as part of the Church History.
