And what a Party it was!!

Below is a selection of the huge number of photographs taken at the SVP’s now-legendary ‘Winter Party’ earlier this month, all depicting the ‘wild and wonderful goings on’ amongst beneficiaries, special guests and our own incredible Conference Members.

After an excellent lunch served by Members and friends, guests were suitably entertained with traditional music played by guitarist par excellence Bernard Gorman, followed by an ‘Abba’ karaoke in our own SVP Greek Tavern, before being superbly completed by a fantastic, ‘Sweet Caroline’ karaoke led by St Werburgh SVP’s singing Maestro - Fr David!

We were truly delighted to be joined at our Winter Party by some very special guests including Fr David's Mum and Dad, together with the lovely Eileen, a very close friend of Fr David's Family.

We also had the pleasure to have with us HMP Berwyn Chaplain Anna Frank-Keyes and another of the Berwyn volunteers, Sister Lydia, who travels every Saturday from Ruthin to Wrexham to visit the prison.

Conference Thanks to everybody involved.  “It is always a superlative team effort.” said President Marco Abbiati.  “In my head I am already planning next year’s SVP Winter Party ....... Vamos !!”
