SVP Holiday Home opens for business…

The Chester and Ellesmere Port (C&EP) District SVP Holiday Home at the Talacre Beach Holiday Park on the North Wales coast, formally opened its doors for 2025 at the beginning of April, with another full season of Guest bookings anticipated until its closure for winter on November 1^st.

Part-supported by St Werburgh’s SVP Conference, the Talacre Holiday Home is a three-bedroomed facility with a spacious lounge, kitchen / dining area and bathroom.  It provides an ideal location and accommodation for Families and individuals in need of a break and is offered completely free of charge for week-long holidays or short breaks.

“Our SVP Holiday Home is often the only way some Families get to take a break and are therefore considered to be much-needed spells of rest.” said SVP District Council Chairman, Stephen Bonsall.  “It enables Family members to relax, recover or recuperate their strength together, perhaps after a bereavement, an illness or a period of financial or other hardship.”
