SVP links with Cheshire East NHS

Members of St Werburgh’s SVP Conference were delighted to hold an initial meeting at The Storyhouse venue in Chester today with Louise, a Subscriber from Cheshire East NHS, to talk about ways in which the two organisations can work more closely together.

Arranged by Fran Waldie, the meeting was intended to enable the two organisations to find out more about each other – roles, experiences and important safeguarding protocols – and especially about SVP’s core work of sitting with and befriending isolated, lonely and poorly people in need.

The hope is that by working collaboratively we will be able to help greater numbers of beneficiaries.
