SVP President Marco Abbiati and Catholic High School (CHS) Lay Chaplain Ana Gasparini led the school’s SVP Youth Team to help Ellesmere Port-based charity Refugee Assist, to sort out the many and various donated clothes bags which they had recently received. In their usual cheerful and energetic style, the school’s young people dived straight into their task and within a very short time had the bags fully cleared and their contents itemised and ready for use.
In thanking Teresa and Trish Pegg at Refugee Assist for helping to arrange things, Marco said, “It has been a very successful event, truly enjoyed by the students that kindly donated their time and effort.”
Ana responded, “Yes, it has been a brilliant event! The kids loved it and sorted everything within an hour. What a great experience!”
