Record numbers at Autumn Mass

St Werburgh’s SVP scored a sensational record for its early Autumn Mass today, with more than fifty people in attendance.

In what will be seen as one of Fr Paul Shaw’s final acts of celebration, the Mass was as beautiful as always, and a fitting tribute to Fr’s almost 20 years of SVP encouragement and support.

“What a fantastic way to start our 2025-26 schedule of activities.” said St Werburgh’s SVP President, Marco Abbiati. “As always, the gratifying gathering of lovely Werbie beneficiaries were superbly supported by an equally tremendous turnout of SVP volunteers and Friends.”
