SVP Summer Lunch 2025

St Werburgh’s SVP was Blessed with fantastic weather for its annual Summer Lunch event, held once again at the charming Rosset Hall, earlier today.

Superlatively well organised by ‘The Two Frans’ - Waldie and McKenna – the event was very well attended by the ‘Werbie’ community who were, from reports, “treated wonderfully” by dutiful SVP Members including Lego Moody, Richard Williams, Margaret Hodson and ‘guitarist extraordinaire’ Bernard Gorman.  Many of the ‘Werbies’ said that they thoroughly enjoyed the setting, the lovely food and especially the opportunity to meet friends whom they might not have seen for some time.

Conference President Marco Abbiati said that it was a pleasure to see so many Werbies “looking very smartly dressed for the occasion”, as shown in our photographs.
