Now hanging in church, including one specially crafted by Helen Lydon. Helen writes: “Miracle of the Goose. Created to celebrate 150 years of St Werburgh’s, Chester, this layered lace collage was inspired by her miracle of bringing a goose back to life and the geese design on her medieval pilgrim badge. The collage layers selected pieces of handmade and vintage bobbin lace, crochet lace, and tatting, generously donated by parishioners, plus the artist’s own crochet.”
