Altar Servers

 

What We Do

St Werburgh's has a thriving Altar Servers group that serves and assists Father Paul and Father Neill at each Mass on a Sunday and Holy Days.

 

There are lots of different jobs available to Altar Servers at each Mass. It is a wonderful opportunity to be involved in and be part of each Mass at St Werburgh's.

 

How you can join us

We welcome anyone who would want to be an Altar Server as long as they have made their First Holy Communion.

 

Who to contact

If you are interested in becoming an Altar Server please speak to Gerry Tighe, James Cashman or Samantha Poulton, who can all be found serving on the Altar each Sunday at the 9.00 am and 10.45 am Masses.

 

About the group

St Werburgh's has had a branch of the Guild of St Stephen's since 1908 only four years after the Guild was established in London.
