Remembrance service at Orchid Lodge 2019

Supported by members of the SVP, Fr Paul led a very moving Remembrance Service in Orchid Lodge at the Grosvenor Gardens Care Home (pictured right) on Wednesday 13th November.

Residents shared their individual memories of the Second World War - rationing, air raids, evacuation, blackout curtains and searchlights.

We also remembered those involved in more recent conflicts and shared our personal prayers and wishes for the future.
